Prof. Dr. Markus Weinberger

Markus Weinberger is a Professor for Internet of Things (IoT) at Aalen University for Applied Science. There he helps establishing one of Europe´s first curricula specifically dedicated to IoT. From 2012 to 2016 Markus was the Director of the Bosch IoT Lab at the University of St. Gallen and ETH Zürich. At the Bosch Lab he and his team researched IoT applications in the domains of Smart Home and Connected Mobility as well as IoT Business Models and the role of Blockchain Technology in IoT. Markus joined Bosch in 1998. He studied Mechanical Engineering in Munich and Trondheim, Norway.
