Ed is accomplished technology innovation executive offering over 20 years of proven ability to capitalize on innovative solutions in today’s data-driven distributed mediums. Flexible, adaptable, having worked in fast paced corporate and agency environments with foundations in management consulting. Also, have been intensely involved in the entrepreneurial process of founding an Internet startup. He is passionate in not only staying ahead of the technology curve, but in driving its evolution.
Currently, Ed leads on Process Transformation within Strategy & Transformation, focusing on Process Simplification and Reengineering. The team integrates Design Thinking, LEAN, and Process Discovery methodologies to drive cross-functional improvements. A proponent of automation and digital-first initiatives, Ed champions the use of Intelligent Automation tools like RPA, OCR/ICR, AI/ML, and BPM, and helps drive Generative AI development, by providing thought leadership for Proof of Concepts, Prototyping, and Proof of Value initiatives.
Before this role, Ed led the Artificial Intelligence Strategic Initiative at Synchrony, focusing on RPA, ML, and IVA to foster workforce transformation with smarter, AI-driven solutions. Previous to Synchrony, at GE Digital, as part of the Digital Innovation team, he led efforts in creating impactful pilots and POCs with emerging technologies across various GE businesses.
Ed’s earlier career focused in the digital marketing technology, holding several leadership positions at Publicis and Omnicom, where he expanded capabilities in mobile, responsive web development, and digital media execution. His professional journey began in Management Consulting at Ernst & Young, followed by an entrepreneurial venture as the founder of Fundmatrix, an ASP web startup.
With a background in BioEngineering and Economics from Cornell University, Ed is always interested in learning and collaborating on how to leverage technology across all industries.
