Sandeep Chennikara leads the Finance Transformation Office for Discover. Discover Financial Services (DFS) is a Fortune 500 company and one of the largest credit card issuers in the United States.

Sandeep is an established leader, influencer, and catalyst of transformation agnostic to industry, function, or discipline for more than a decade. He brings expertise grounded in lean-agile principles, product development, intelligent automation, project management and change management.

He has had roles with increasing responsibility and scope. Initially starting out with Liberty Mutual Insurance in a leadership development program and then focusing on lean transformations across the company. His passion for change led him to Discover, where he continued to lead lean transformations, strategic projects, process automation and optimizing operating models for new product development. In addition to improving organizations, he is continuously seeking to fulfill his passion for improvement through bettering himself, the organizations, and communities he is part of to shape a brighter future together.

Chennikara earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from Purdue University and his MBA from University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
