Chas Moore is the Vice President of Transformation for QX Chazey Partners, currently heading up the Integration Management Office, while actively supporting several Chazey projects with advisory support, quality assurance, and technical expertise.
Chas joined the Chazey team ten years ago and led several of our major projects as the senior project manager in the private sector (Gilead Sciences, Varian Medical Services), higher education (University of California System, Claremont University Consortium), and government (US Department of Health & Human Services, Canadian Department of Fisheries and Oceans). Chas is passionate about practical solutions for complex systems.
Throughout his career, Chas has gravitated towards the challenging roles that required new thinking and innovation. With over 25 years of experience, Chas has held several senior roles including chief financial officer, internal auditor, corporate director, college instructor, and vice president. Chas is a Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Professional Accountant (CPA), professional facilitator, trained public speaker, certified in business continuity management, and holds a bachelor’s degree in microbiology from the University of British Columbia. Early in his career, Chas was heading towards becoming a medical doctor, but a lack of desire for the sight of blood and live germs, drove him towards accounting and working in healthcare administration for fourteen years, before joining Chazey Partners.
Chas recently earned his black belt in Chito-Ryu Karate and continues to train as work and travel allows.
