Celonis unveils four new process intelligence apps

Celonis, a global leader in process mining and process intelligence, has announced the launch of four innovative applications as part of its Celonis Platform Apps Program. Developed in collaboration with ecosystem partners Apolix, Bloomfilter, FITS-P, and Ventum, these apps are designed to extend Celonis' capabilities into new use cases, including insurance claims processing, software development, system transformation and sustainability. By combining Celonis’ Process Intelligence Graph with domain expertise from its partners, the apps aim to optimize processes, enhance business outcomes and deliver value at scale.

Among the new offerings, the Claims Management Control Center, powered by Apolix, addresses claims leakage in the insurance industry, enabling companies to save millions through better process adherence and prioritization. Meanwhile, the Software Development Lifecycle Management app, co-created with Bloomfilter, brings AI-driven transparency and efficiency to software projects, significantly improving sprint success rates and delivery velocity. These apps exemplify how Celonis and its partners are utilizing cutting-edge technology and deep industry knowledge to deliver impactful process improvements across diverse sectors.


Reveille Software expands ABBYY partnership with enhanced Vantage support

Reveille Software has strengthened its collaboration with ABBYY by adding support for ABBYY Vantage and FlexiCapture Cloud, expanding on its existing FlexiCapture integration. This enhancement provides comprehensive observability across ABBYY’s Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) solutions, helping organizations optimize automation investments.

As part of the ABBYYOne Partner Network, Reveille’s integration delivers advanced telemetry, actionable insights and improved management for ABBYY platforms. ABBYY Vantage, a low-/no-code platform for content ingestion, now benefits from Reveille’s visibility, streamlined administration and ROI optimization, ensuring seamless and efficient operations.

Wayne Ford, Senior VP at Reveille, emphasized the need for comprehensive observability to maintain peak performance in complex automation environments. The expanded partnership underscores ABBYY and Reveille’s shared commitment to delivering measurable outcomes for customers.


IBM to acquire Applications Software Technology LLC, enhancing Oracle expertise

IBM has announced plans to acquire Applications Software Technology LLC (AST), a global Oracle consultancy specializing in cloud application transformations for the public and private sectors. With a strong focus on Oracle Cloud Applications, including ERP, HCM and EPM solutions, AST brings deep expertise in helping clients navigate complex digital transformations. The acquisition will bolster IBM's consulting capabilities in public sector transformations, addressing challenges like legacy system migration, compliance requirements and skills shortages, particularly for clients in North America, the UK and Ireland.

AST, headquartered in Lisle, Illinois, has been an Oracle partner since 1996 and serves industries including manufacturing, energy and consumer goods alongside its significant public sector presence. Its expertise extends to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, JD Edwards and NetSuite, as well as Salesforce and MuleSoft integrations. This acquisition follows IBM's 2024 purchase of Accelalpha and aligns with its open ecosystem strategy, aimed at providing comprehensive, technology-agnostic solutions for client needs. The deal is expected to close in Q1 2025, subject to regulatory approvals.


Mendix 10.18 launches with AI-powered enhancements for software development

Mendix, a Siemens business, has released Mendix 10.18, introducing AI-driven innovations to simplify and accelerate the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Key updates include the Mendix GenAI Resource Packs, which help organizations quickly deploy generative AI (GenAI) models with contextual accuracy and cost tracking and Compass, a tool designed to guide organizations through digital transformation. Enhancements to the AI assistant, Maia, include domain model generation, multilingual support and UI recommendations, boosting productivity and accessibility for developers.

The release emphasizes governance and security, offering content filters to mitigate risks such as bias and harmful content while ensuring responsible AI usage. Deployment automation tools like Pipelines and JIRA integration streamline application quality assurance, further strengthening Mendix’s enterprise capabilities. Mendix 10.18 aligns with the company’s mission to democratize AI access and provide a secure, efficient platform for enterprise software development.


Meiji Yasuda partners with Accenture for AI-driven business transformation

Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance and Accenture have entered a multi-year partnership to implement an AI-powered corporate transformation initiative. Running through March 2030, the collaboration aims to enhance workforce productivity and innovation by integrating digital technologies like AI-enabled digital assistants. Key projects include the rollout of "MY Palette," an AI tool already assisting 36,000 salespeople nationwide by offering personalized customer engagement strategies and streamlining administrative tasks. The program will expand to all employees as part of a broader effort to transition Meiji Yasuda to a data-driven management platform.

This initiative aligns with Meiji Yasuda’s “MY Mutual Way 2030” plan to blend human potential with digital tools for societal impact, such as improving healthcare and community vitality. Accenture will also lead an enterprise-wide training program to cultivate AI skills among employees, including developing 300 future leaders to sustain long-term innovation. Utilizing Accenture’s Center for Advanced AI, the partnership reflects Japan's push for productivity-driven innovation amid demographic challenges, setting a benchmark for sustainable digital transformation in the insurance sector.


Instabase raises $100m series D led by QIA to enhance AI capabilities

Instabase, a leader in AI for unstructured data, secured $100 million in Series D funding led by the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), with participation from Greylock Partners, NEA, Andreessen Horowitz and Index Ventures.

The funding will advance Instabase’s AI Hub platform, enabling enterprises to automate workflows, analyze unstructured data like emails and PDFs and unlock new efficiencies. Since its last funding round, Instabase has doubled its customer base, attracting clients like AXA, Uber and NatWest across financial services, healthcare and government sectors.

“AI-driven unstructured data management is essential for innovation,” said Anant Bhardwaj, CEO of Instabase. “Our platform empowers enterprises to securely utilize AI and transform operations.”

With its federated architecture and focus on security, Instabase serves four of the five largest U.S. banks and other global enterprises, positioning itself as a leader in AI-powered business transformation.

Nemetschek Group unveils AI innovations at BAU 2025

The Nemetschek Group, a leading software provider for the AEC/O and media industries, showcased its latest AI advancements at BAU 2025, emphasizing innovation, cohesion and user empowerment.

The centerpiece of this launch is the AI Assistant, the company’s first AI-agent-based technology, now integrated into ALLPLAN and Archicad by Graphisoft. This tool streamlines workflows, fosters collaboration and provides a unified, intelligent interface across the Nemetschek ecosystem.

“Our AI Assistant redefines innovation and collaboration in the AEC/O industry, combining advanced AI with decades of expertise to empower users with smarter, more cohesive tools,” said Charles Sheridan, Chief AI & Data Officer.
