IBM releases Process Mining 1.15.0 with performance enhancements and advanced analytics

IBM announced the release of IBM Process Mining 1.15.0, a significant update that brings performance enhancements and advanced analytical capabilities to users. Alongside this release, the firm also rebranded IBM Business Automation Starter Kit to the IBM Process Mining and RPA Bundle to better reflect its expanded capabilities.

IBM’s most acclaimed feature, prescriptive process mining, is now generally available for both legacy and NextGen engines. By simply uploading data, users can benefit from a complete auto-generated analysis highlighting issues, recommended actions and expected benefits, in natural language, according to the firm., What’s more, with the introduction of the NextGen Process Mining engine, IBM Process Mining 1.15.0 delivers up to seven times faster performance than previous versions, IBM added. This release also introduces six dashboard templates to kickstart process analysis and new custom metrics.

IBM also announced a new collaboration with Telefónica Tech to drive development of AI, analytics and data management solutions. The agreement, initially limited to Spain, establishes a framework of collaboration between the two companies to help their customers deal with the complexity of managing new technologies and to extract the full value of these technologies in their business processes.

Precisely unveils new cloud services and deployment options

Software vendor Precisely announced availability of Spatial Analytics and Data Enrichment services for its leading Precisely Data Integrity Suite1, as well as the release of a new private API for mainframe replication. The new offerings allow customers to use cloud-native spatial APIs to produce more scalable and performant spatial apps, enrich data with critical third-party datasets that add context and reveal new insights for location data and access more flexible deployment options for mainframe replication, according to a press release.

“Customers can now access a complete range of data integrity capabilities in the way that works best for their business, allowing them to quickly and easily fuel their organization with highly trusted data,” said Chris Hall, chief product officer at Precisely. “We are proud to lead the way in delivering a converged data integrity solution that uniquely combines everything from data integration to spatial analytics and data enrichment – critical elements for ensuring reliable AI and advanced analytics outcomes.”

Appian’s Stephanie Eade named a CML 100 honoree

Business process automation vendor Appian announced that Stephanie Eade, senior director of global partner marketing, has been named by Channel Insider, a TechnologyAdvice brand, to its inaugural Channel Marketing Leaders 100 list. This list recognizes 100 of the most strategic IT channel marketers supporting the growth of their organization’s North American IT channel partner programs.

To be recognized as a Channel Marketing Leader, an individual must work collaboratively with colleagues, peers and partners to establish and maintain industry-wide trust, uphold messaging and engagement standards, and consistently demonstrate value through partnership, according to a press release. The Appian Partner Program is designed to support partner growth and market differentiation, helping mutual customers achieve success, the firm stated.

Celonis and SFR enhance fiber customer connection processes

Process mining and process intelligence vendor Celonis announced a new partnership with SFR, the second largest telecom provider in France, to optimize the fiber connection process and improve customers’ satisfaction. Celonis will provide SFR innovations in process optimization and automation, integrating data from multiple information systems to create a comprehensive view of business operations, identifying inefficiencies and empowering teams to correct them, according to a press release.

“We are particularly proud to collaborate with Altice France – SFR to help them accelerate their digital transformation,” commented Fadi Naffah, managing director for France, Middle East and Africa at Celonis. “Our solution is designed to support Altice France – SFR in achieving a bold transformation in response to increased competitive pressure over the past few years.”

Esker and Kompozable help businesses leverage data and enable digital aspirations

Process automation solutions company Esker announced a strategic partnership with Kompozable, a leading data and integration firm, to offer referral opportunities. Kompozable helps businesses unlock the potential of their data by simplifying the process of extracting and sharing data from ERP systems.

ABBYY Vantage named best IDP solution in AI Breakthrough Awards

ABBYY Vantage was named “Best Intelligent Document Processing Solution” in the 7th annual AI Breakthrough Awards program, the automation vendor announced. This year’s program attracted over 5,000 nominations from over 20 different countries as vendors sought to be honored and recognized by AI Breakthrough for innovation and success in AI.

Rockwell Automation and Sweetch Energy optimize zero-carbon electricity generation

French renewables startup Sweetch Energy will rely on expertise and presence from Rockwell Automation to help scale its osmotic power generation technology. Osmotic energy is naturally generated by the difference in salinity between freshwater and seawater. Rockwell technologies will be used to automate, control and monitor Sweetch Energy’s zero-carbon electricity generation technology as well as optimize process and power-generation efficiency.

FlowForma founder and CEO departs company

The founder and CEO of process automation vendor FlowForma, Olivia Bushe, has left the company after eight years. “What a journey we have had! We had many fun times and weathered the occasional storm, such as the COVID pandemic where we united as a company to ensure everyone came out the other side,” Bushe wrote on LinkedIn.

“Together we created a work culture that values its people and customers  – and in return is valued. Thank you also to our fantastic customers who continue to inspire the FlowForma product to become quicker, easier and simpler. Unfortunately nothing lasts forever and the time has come for change. I want to thank all of you for the support, guidance and encouragement you all have given me over my time at FlowForma. What an adventure it has been.”
